The Eco Champions for the Peninsula program aims to foster leadership for sustainability among students and teachers in the Mornington Peninsula so that they can make significant contributions to the environmental outcomes of the region.
Tomorrow’s Leaders for Sustainability Inc (TLfS) has been funded by the Mornington Peninsula Shire to lead the program and will work with the shire and a number of local groups to maximise on ground environmental outcomes. The program, which is comprised of training programs, events and promotional activities, will run during the 2015 school year.

Date: Wednesday, 5 August 2015
Time: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm (arrive 8.30 am for registration)
Location: Woodleigh School – Penbank Campus - 460 Mornington-Tyabb Rd, Moorooduc
Cost: No charge – 100 places fully subsidised by Mornington Shire

2015 Eco Champions Challenge
Mornington Peninsula Shire is offering Years 5-8 students in the Shire the opportunity to take part in an a challenge for an environmental project.
Register teams: Anytime before 6th November 2015
Submit entries: Before 13th November 2015
Winners announced 4th December 2015
Prizes: Great prizes will be presented to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners
Schools: Open to all schools in the Peninsula region.

Note: Our Forum on the 5th August will act as a springboard to the Challenge, with the day’s activities based around building potential partnership and project ideas. It's not a prequisite to join the Challenge but it's a great way to get your students ready.
