Another great year for TLfS!

Training

  • Trained a total of 65 educators and teachers from 33 schools and 13 community groups in the TLfS program in Victoria. Our goal in 2010 is to expand into other states around Australia. 

Major Projects

  •  Conducted a student leadership Forum in the Wimmera with great success
  •  Supported schools in our TLfS Learning Networks:
    • Bayside Glen Eira Kingston (BGK Model)
    • Wimmera (Wimmera Model)
  •  Continued to develop three new TLfS Learning Networks
    •  City of Port Phillip (through Port Phillip EcoCentre)
    •  Healesville (through Hedgend Maze)
    •  City of Bayside

 

Marketing & Promotion

  • Secured further financial supporters to fund the ongoing roll out of the program
  • Developed relationships with key partners to help develop and disseminate the program
  • Developed and launched our new website
  • Continued development of all associated TLfS educational materials and resources
  • Presented the TLfS program at numerous events
  • Pepared two informative newsletters

 

Evaluation

  • Collated and compiled evaluation data from all TLfS workshops and school programs to monitor the TLfS content and deliver
  • Engaged a leading researcher to evaluate the TLfS program and the Wimmera Forum
