The Challenge is about delivering practical environmental projects and building working partnerships between schools and local community groups.

Students from schools on the Peninsula are invited to work in teams of at least three people to complete an environmental project with assistance from a community group.  This can be a project in the school or a project in the local community.  Student teams should be supervised by a teacher from the school.  Community groups are invited to assist students in practical ways on a school project AND/OR offer opportunities for students to work on a local community project.  The Challengeis open to all schools on the Peninsula.

The Eco Champions Youth Forum was held on the 5th August 2015. It gave local schools the opportunity to start thinking about their school projects. We encourage all schools who attended the forum to enter their projects into the Eco Champion Challenge. We encourage other schools to look at the video above for some ideas and contact the community groups acknowledged at the end of the video to discuss how they might work together on a project. Or feel free to contact TLfS to set up a time to discuss project ideas and community partnerships. Please use our email This email address is being protected from spambots.
